Napa Valley EVOOs are back! After sitting out the 2020 harvest season we are excited to release three beautiful and unique oils from orchards in Calistoga, Oakville & Rutherford.
Oakville, Napa Valley, California
Dennis & Sharon Harter’s orchard lines the eastern side of the Silverado Trail, sitting at a juncture where hillside meets valley floor.
Rutherford, Napa Valley, California
The Bosche Estate orchard sits down a small lane, nestled between expansive vineyards that blanket the western side of Highway 29.
Calistoga, Napa Valley, California
On the valley floor near the southern foothills of Mount St. Helena, a mix of young and mature olive trees line the property of Ron and Linda DeKoven.
The terroir of our olive oil reads a bit differently this season (learn more here), but the premise of what we do holds true ~ producing orchard designated EVOO from growers with integrity and a sense of stewardship to their land. We are excited to share their stories and olive oil!
Montespertoli, Tuscany, Italy
Grower | Guido Gualandi
In the rolling countryside of the Montespertoli region of Tuscany resides Guido Gualandi - archaeologist, painter, professor and producer of organic wine & extra virgin olive oil.
After years in the field studying Mesopotamian art and ancient Mediterranean agriculture, Guido established his podere (farm) outside of Florence with a resolute intention - to produce wine and extra virgin olive oil in accordance with the history beneath his feet.
Douro Valley, Portugal
Growers | Kay & Vincent Bouchard
In 1992, Kay and Vincent Bouchard stumbled upon a run down 18th-century estate while on a hiking trip in Northern Portugal. Energized by the landscape and local culture, they decided to purchase the property to restore as a hospitality project with an aim to preserve and promote regional traditions.
Today the Bouchard's welcome guests at their Quinta for a sample of Douro Valley life and produce estate wine and olive oil.
