Our Basil Olive Oil is made from pressing California grown olives with fresh basil.
Flavored oils pair nicely in dishes that call for fresh herbs and olive oil or when used as a final seasoning over fresh produce and breads. We enjoy using our Basil Olive Oil to finish caprese sandwiches, simple salads, and veggie bowls.

Pesto
Ingredients:
(2) garlic cloves
(2 tbsp) pine nuts
(1/3 cup) grated parmesan
(2 cup) spinach or arugula
(1/2 cup) fresh basil
(2/3 cup) Basil EVOO
juice of (1/2) lemon
pinch of sea salt
cracked pepper to taste
Directions:
In a Vitamix or food processor, combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pesto can be kept in a mason jar for up to 5 days in the refrigerator, or kept in the freezer for up to 6 months.
